On April 27th, 2015, Minick Law’s Hispanic Outreach Director Henry Padilla supported the 15th annual Children’s Day Festival at Jackson’s park in Hendersonville, NC. This event was created to honor the importance of children in our community with games, a youth soccer tournament, talent show, raffles, toys and cultural and educational activities for the entire family to enjoy.

Children’s Day Festival is organized by Adriana Chavela from Hola Carolina Magazine, and Ricardo Bello from Latino Marketing Solutions, and is sponsored by a host of local small businesses. Chavela is well known in the community through her work at Mountain Biz Works, where she worked to foster entrepreneurialism within the Hispanic community. Various agencies and community service providers offered education about some of the great resources available to our community. Ricardo thrives connecting businesses with our fast growing Hispanic Community in western North Carolina.

Minick Law of Hendersonville was proud to be able to participate; and we were thrilled to donate a bicycle to be given away at the event. Here is a picture of Antony Lopez, who won the bike during the festival.     Tear it up Antony, and ride safely!
