This is Biblioworks biggest annual fundraiser. Please come out and support their libraries and literacy initiatives in Bolivia. It’s also their 10-year anniversary! We’re soon to open our 13th library in Padilla, Bolivia.
BiblioWorks is founded on the simple principle that literacy and education are critical components for the creation and vitality of sustainable communities and cultures. We believe that where knowledge, literacy, and learning exist, people have the resources they need to solve social issues, maintain and strengthen their cultural identities, as well as to grow their community economically.
BiblioWorks promotes education and literacy in communities in need. We believe that healthy communities require healthy minds. That’s why we have been building libraries, supplying books and training librarians in the poorest communities of Bolivia since 2005. Since 2005, we’ve established 12 libraries in rural Bolivia.
Biblio Charitable Works, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to provide communities in need with tools and resources to develop sustainable literacy and education programs through funding and book and material donations for schools, libraries, and cultural institutions.
