Last friday I attended a Personal Injury trail skills seminar in Raleigh, N.C. at the headquarters for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. The seminar discussed trial strategies for personal injury cases. Speakers included Elizabeth Overmann with The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin; Karonnie R. Truzy of Crumley Roberts; Bailey Melvin of The Melvin Law Firm; Will Owens of Owens & Miller; James Roane III of Roane Law; and Clifford Britt of Comerford and Britt, LLP.

In addition, three sitting N.C. judges, The Honorable R. Allen Baddour, Jr., the Honorable Carl Fox, and the Honorable Lucy N. Inman discussed trial strategies from a judge’s viewpoint.
