After college, Emily worked as an AmeriCorps volunteer at The Hispanic Liaison, a non-profit organization providing services to immigrants in Chatham County. Her experience fighting for immigrants gave Emily the motivation to take the LSAT and go to law school. After graduation Emily, worked for 3 years at the Buncombe County Public Defender’s Office before opening her own firm practice. Gibson Law, PLLC primarily focuses on criminal defense.
